KELVE is a small village in Palghar district, which is situated at Arabian
sea coast surrounded by lush green forests, cool winds, and tall palm
groves. Famous all over Maharashtra as KELVE BEACH for its beautiful
beaches, Suruchi (Cypress) Garden on beach, Goddess Shitala Devi
Temple. The Suruchi garden here was completely got destroyed in
month of Dec-2017 by Ockhi Cyclone with strong winds.
But being helpless in front of mother nature, we could not just remain
silent. Cypress sapling were once again planted on the seashore with
the grace of volunteers of Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan in
2019. They are getting bigger now but the sunshine on the shore isn’t
enough.
The donor will adopt the trees at the rate of Rs.500 per tree. This includes sapling cost, cost of digging for planting, providing drip irrigation system for watering during non-monsoon season and maintenance costs.
We invite you to see the progress of the adopted trees after a year or two to feel proud about your grown trees.
